John Deere metal plate 40x60 cm
Two traditional companies join together. It was 1956 when Deere& Company took control over Heinrich Lanz AG. The plate shows the story of the last Lanz tractor Bulldog 4016 to new JD models from the series 100 up to 700 (1960-1967). This evolution of engineering over the series 10 (310...) up to tractor 3120 (1972) was made with high quality feeling like Heinrich Lanz had and was the fondation of the gig success of John Deere in Europe.

You see two legends of Lanz Bulldog tractors up this plate:
In the upper right, type D 2539- HR9, 55 hp usally called “Eilbulldog”(fast bulldog). Due to its, for higher speed designed gearbox, it was used well for transports on streets. It was built between 1936 and 1944.
In the middle you see the type D 6520-HR5, 38 hp tractor called “Verkehrsbulldog”(trafficbulldog) from the period 1929 to 1935. It had been requestable with or without a cabin and often it was used to pull circus trailers.
