The KOVAP Firm, Náchod Producers Cooperative,continues in its more than 50-year-long production of mechanical metal toys.
A wide range of models of passenger cars, vans and lorries is complemented by both new and historical mechanical toys and collectors items.
One of the unique products is a four-geared  tractor with a spring mechanism to wind-up with a key, enabling the changing of three gears for driving forward and one gear for reversing. This product is supplemented by a set of agricultural accessories. Other three products will be produced in 2003 -rotator, wooden rollers and uniaxial trailer to FENDT tractor. In 2000 the KOVAP Firm obtained a licence for the production of the sheet-metal tractor models of the firms JOHN DEERE and LANZ BULLDOG.In 2002 we succeeded in receiving licence for production of sheet-metal tractor models of FENDT Company. First models of FENDT F20 tractor were manufactured at the turn of 2002/2003. The sale will start at Nuremberg Toy Fair 2003. An increased sale of JD tractors is expected after the release of the product in the US market, which is currently being negotiated.

It needs a lot of subtle intuition to put farm accsesoires together but this is no problem with our employees.

The Production

You need very skillfull hands to build tractors.Here we build work of art where we ned a lot of sensitiveness.The four- speed- gearbox needs a very precise assembly where you need a long years of trade crafts skill.

Spring drive of our tractors have a very robust  and a long life construction.Wind up funktion can be stopped with a little handbrake.

A number of other products are prepared in the development workshop of  KOVAP Company.
