Dear customers,
with the Fendt F 20 Dieselroß-model, Kovap brings another milestone of tractor history into rattling life.
Johann Gergeg Fendt ( 1868-1933 ), whose second name can be authentically traced back to the 13th century in1898, took over the craftsman´s business of his father Franz Xaver and developed to a specialist for church tower clocks and special industrial machines. At the beginning 20th century, he recognized the chances through the more and more progressing mechanization of agriculture and this was the reason, why he also occupied himself with the distribution of “Deutz” stationary engines.
Together with his son Hermann ( gorn in 1911 ), Fendt bulit, in 1928,an own gras-mower with gas-engine, which was developed further, after the wordwide economic crisis ( 1929 ), to the first “Fendt Dieselroß”.
After his fathers death ( 1833 ), Hermann Fendt continued the business, together with his brothers Xaver and Paul. And with more and more technical visions and innovations, they pushed the tractor production, until finally in 1951, the Dieselroß types F 20 G and F20 H were built.
Already there, the Fendts could look back to a big tradition, because in 1950 the completion of the 10000th Fendt tractor was celebrated -a F 15
So the famers were given a multi purpose machine to mow and drive agriculturel machines, for the small and mid size farms. Guided by a strong leadership team, this versatility gave Fendt, in the 1950´s, the gift of more and more production records. So already at the 13th of november 1955, the 50000th Dieselroß was celebrated. From that time on, Fendttractors from Allgäu coutryside, are worldwide well known for their technical pioneering achievement.
Since 1997 the brand, whose heart beats in the south of Germany, near the Alps, belongs to the US AGCO corporation. So additional sales potentials outside Europe open up. For it still means in future:

Based on the experience with the F 15 type, the F 20 was designed as a “middle size” tractor, which should link sophisticated design, best quality, profitability and reliability, for a very good value.
